Hello, does anybody knows what should I do to solve this error and submit the updates to the cloud properly?

Already tried to unmark the mentioned file, but the system repeats the error and mark it again.
If I duplicate the file and delete the original, the error disappear for the copy, but remains for other, seemingly randomly within a certain type, assets in the project. This would be a solution if I didn't have thousands of those in the project, making this alternative impracticable.

This is the error pop up:

    My Unity version is 2021.3.25.
I don't know where and if I can look for the Plastic SCM's version.

Error transcription to help other people with the same issue to find this thread:

The item 'target file' is not loaded on the changeset you are working on. You most likely updated the workspace with the item cloaked, so it wasn't unloaded. Please retry the check-in operation excluding this item, then update the entire workspace to fix any inconsistency.

    Hi,

This error normally happens when you are trying to add an item that already exists in the repo but it's not loaded in your workspace (because it's cloaked or because it's not configured in your are using a Gluon/partial workspace).
You will need to load/download this item in order to apply changes to this path.

Is this a regular or a partial/Gluon workspace?

Not sure if you also have the GUI, but it may be easier to debug the problem:

If the issue persists or you are stuck, please reach us at devops-vcs-support@unity3d.com and we can arrange a meeting with you to debug your setup.

    Regards,
    Carlos.

    Thanks for the answer.

I don't know what workspace it's configured here, but I'm using all standard settings. I just installed the Plastic SCM package and start to make commits some months ago.

Adding addressables to my project forced me to change a lot of assets from the /Resources to another custom location within the /Assets. Beyond that, more assets were added at this new location and in some point, this message start to appear...

I have the Plastic GUI too, same error observed in Unity occurs there, though I don't know how to used GUI very well.

I appreciate your offer to arrange a meeting, it happens that this problem is critical to me, considering my HD is old making me prone to lose data. Lacking a practical solution or test, I'll be forced to try the manual approach, duplicating each affected file and deleting the original, to see if it gets cleared by the system, allowing me to upload changes again.

I solved the issue through the duplicate and delete route mentioned earlier, it took me an hour, but at least I could upload the changes now...

I'll contact you by e-mail, if you wish to check it out something either way...

Can you easily reproduce the problem? If you have some steps, we would like to try it.
