    Hi @negarart,

This definitely should not be happening. Can you provide me some more information concerning what steps you're doing to get this result?

If I understand correctly, you seem to have two problems:
For the first one, please confirm the following:
    • You see the package manager window?
    • Your Unity console is exempt of errors?
    • Make sure that above the packages, the window shows "all packages" and not "in project".

For this second issue, please tell me:
    • What do you mean by "... it fails to load packages online."?
    For both issues:
    • Can you send me Editor Logs?
    • Can you let me know if you're in a professional setting, at home, in school?
    • Are you behind a firewall
    • Are you being proxied?
Thanks a bunch, please let me know if you have questions.

    Cheers,
    Pedro

I use unity 2018.3 and my OS is windows.

I see package manager windows, and when I open it,it says in console:
    Error searching packages online.
    UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions()

    Yes,i'm in All packages mode.

And yes, I use proxy, but through proxy,I can use asset store,so,I don't think this is because of proxy.

    Hi @negarart

    Apologies for the late answer,

I wouldn't discount your proxy from interfering with the correct functioning of Package Manager, but we will put it aside for the moment. Can you send me your Editor.logs and upm.logs?

    Cheers,

    Hi everyone,

If you've found yourself here in 2021 and struggled to find a clear workaround on this issue, I can say that this worked for me Windows 10, Unity version 2019.4.18f1:

Close Unity then delete Unity & UnityHub folders in %APPDATA%\Roaming

Worked for me, I didn't need to change registry or add environment variables.

    Happy making!,
