Error loading Creator Kit: RPG

New to unity (day 2, tutorial 2). Trying to import the Creator Kit: RPG asset into a new project.

On import I get the following Package Manager error:

An error occurred while resolving packages:

  Project has invalid dependencies:

    com.unity.render-pipelines.universal: Package [com.unity.render-pipelines.universal@12.1.10] cannot be found.

I've tried reinstalling the asset and also looking at the asset in the package manager, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do.

I also found a thread online recommending to edit the .json file line and delete it, but won't this just stop it trying to load the asset? I want to learn how to get this working if possible, not just stop the package from loading.

Assistance in troubleshooting would be much appreciated. I'm working on a 15" macbook running Ventura.

Pains me to say this but you'll have to report it to admin, it's a known issue that most of the official tutorial projects on here are out of date and don't work.
