Hello! Unity 2020.1.6. I try to upload .apk with ARMv7 - all OK, ARM64 - all OK, but when I upload .aab I get error in google console: Targeted directory 'assets/a/a/a' is empty. Configuration on screen. "bundletool.jar validate" show same error: [BT:1.3.0] Error: Targeted directory 'assets/a/a/a' is empty.

I've never heard about such path, it might be specific to your project. Try producing an apk and unzip it, check if those folders are present.

Project have no this path. When I unzip .apk this path with classes, but I understand in .aab this classes not exist.

So where should I look for the error? If build errors are not displayed.

You need to download bundletool manually - https://developer.android.com/studio/command-line/bundletool?authuser=1 and try to extract the files then. I am not exactly sure how you're ending up with that error.

Alternatively you could submit a bug with repro project attach to Unity, though it doesn't look like a Unity bug from first glance.

I download and have error: [BT:1.3.0] Error: Targeted directory 'assets/a/a/a' is empty. I can't send a project. The project is 3.5 Gb and I have slow Internet. To upload 3.5 Gb I need 32 Hours...Any ideas about check/unchek flag or other?

Hi koljanich! I have the same problem, did you find a solution?

    It says
An error occurred while running bundletool build-apks on your uploaded App Bundle. Ensure that your App Bundle is valid by running bundletool build-apks locally and try again. Learn more. Error: Targeted directory 'assets/a/a' is empty.

    Thanks

I haven't seen any related bug reports yet. Could you submit a bug report, so we would be able to investigate this? If you will submit it, please paste the 7 digit case number in this thread as well.
