When I try to import some stuff I get the following error:

Error importing folder (The pathName assets/editor is already mapped to ad3656718d2bf4050a3ac4b9e51d4603. But the meta data wants it to be mapped to 66c7c0d527ec74f5aabaf3bc09a75657)
Can I be certain that it has now imported everything within that package despite this error?

I've had this happen several times when upgrading a plugin or some kind of imported asset. The metadata files like to get a little rowdy when you try and overwrite them. I haven't seen any actual issues coming out of this though, usually it's just a harmless message and Unity takes care of everything behind the scenes.

I think I had this happen once while updating a plugin and that left it in a half imported state. Re-importing the plugin didn't fix things since files that already existed were duplicated with a " 2" added to the name. Something that I don't think should be the behaviour especially not without asking.
