Bug Error: ConsoleWindow.OnGUI.mouseDown

    if I try to open a script, I get a window saying "consolewindow.ongui.mousedown".

    This is really annoying as this always happens.
    I don't remember when it started happing.
    Please help!
    If you need more information like the scripts, just tell me

    Chances are some package or asset you have on your project is getting activated on that method. Do you remember what you installed before you started getting this error?

    I have a very similar experince but my message is' ptojectBrowser.onGUI.mouseDown'. This occurred when I updated from a 2019 version of unity to 2L21 version, but I do not re,e,ber the exact version numbers. In my case the only way out of this loop wasto close the editor through Task manager.
    If it helps my diagnosis has included completely uninstalling Unity ( twice), srarting with a brand new project, reloading Visual studio (twice) and downloading these programmes with my Norton secutity lifted.
