Just updated from Entities .51 to 1.0.0-pre.15. Everything went, well not smoothly, but all of my build and compile errors are gone. Some runtime functionality got busted in the transition so I'm attempting to diagnose the problems one by one.

Using unity editor 2022.2.1f1, on my desktop, Windows 11, none of the Entities related editor windows will open at all. Hierarchy, systems, archetypes, etc. When I try to open any of them, nothing happens at all. No errors are displayed or logged to the editor itself.

Weirdly, the components window DOES open. (sometimes?)

Under Window > Panels the windows are listed if I try to open them, and will be removed from that list if I select "Close all floating panels..."

I can't confirm this 100% right now, but I'm pretty sure this is NOT true for the same exact project, same versions, on my laptop. I was working the issues last night no problems, but today on my desktop, no entities editor windows.

Where can I go to begin to track this down?

My first thought is, have you tried resetting your editor layout via the Layout drop down on the upper right corner of the editor window? If that does not work, then nuke the project's Library folder or at least the Also, have you edited the DOTS packages at all?

Make a backup if necessary and try to delete the Layouts folder in the UserSettings folder of your project. It resolved an issue I had where the Preferences window and Input Debug windows were not showing on some of my 2022.2.0f1 projects.

Funny I've actually been getting this as well, same editor version, not entirely sure its a DOTS issue. For me its been the profiler window(also had some issues getting the project settings and preferences), on my surface pro(5th gen) with windows 11.

Unity insists its open, as its listed in the panels menu as well as I get low memory purge profiler warnings when its open(a modest project with rider maxes the 8gb that this machine has), but its not visible anywhere. What works once or twice is using the windows key and arrow keys to move it into view. Deleting the layout doesn't work and neither does a full library delete or deleting the UserSettings Layouts folder.
Kinda wondering if its something to do with the combination resolution/dpi, on my desktop, also windows 11 and the same project none of the issues opening the profiler window.

My "build settings" menu doesn't show up. 2022.2.1f and Window 11
    - Clear UserSettings folder - Not result
    - Change Layout to Default - No result
    - Reset All Layouts - No result
    - Use 2021.3.16f1 (downgrade the project) - It works

    Please help

It seems like a bug related to the display screen. My computer is connected to multiple displays. When I change the settings, the window appears successfully.
