@Erik-Juhl Hi, I remember to be able to use the Tab key in the editor to be able to place values and data.
What i mean is, lets say in scaling, or in position, or in any Vector3 for that matter, i would just click on the first place, type in my values, then simply hit the tab key to go to the next and enter the desired value, then keep going to the next one.
Now in Unity 2017.1.1p3 (must be the same in earlier version i guess) i have to keep pressing the enter key.
Click, enter my value, hit tab... and then hit enter to get into the value entry point and THEN enter my value.
It may sound like nitpicking but it is a time saver to not having to hit enter and it does contribute to errors when you go in autopilot and you *think* you entered a value while in reality you haven't.

Can we please get the older style back? or is it just me?

Same, I find it hindering to hit enter, tab tab on my mechanical keyboard is one of my favorite key strokes.

@karl_jones the original problem seems fixed, but now it isn't possible to confirm the entered value with the Enter key anymore. It just stays highlighted. This could be problematic, e.g. when typing something accidentally while still having the value selected.

That sounds a lot like this bug, which is listed as fixed in the latest patch:

Thanks. Good to know! Didn't think there would be a patch only three days after release :D
