Engine for spaceship

Hi all,

I am struggling with this one a bit, I am trying to make an engine stream prefab for my space game.

Now I have tried making one using the particle system but I can never make it look like how I want to, are there any tutorials or anything like that to do things like this.

Or is there a better way to do it?
