I run a blank scene in 4.6.4 it idles at 5% cpu
I run a blank scene in 5.4.3 it idles at 60% cpu
Why is the cpu overhead so much higher now for a blank scene?
I have a 4.4 ghz G3258 cpu it is decently powerful.
I even made 2 extra blank projects to confirm this.

On a blank scene I get 0 CPU, and bigger scenes 0.1 (if I am NOT baking anything/active particle effects, etc), so Capture and post a stats window screen/windows task manager....would help getting to an answer, because that is strange!..is 'Auto' (bake) unchecked in Lighting Window?

Just to confirm (because I have seen users not realise when updating to Unity 5). Do you mean the default scene? Or a scene you have emptied?

The junk now in an default scene is very different to how it used to be (I wish there was a Unity 5 option to have an empty scene by default).
