Hello, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I've searched and every topic I've found has been for close, but not quite the same issue.
I've got a standard material with an emissive value, with the intensity set to 10. The GI value of the material is set to baked, and the object is set to static. All the neighboring objects are set to static. I've used Enlighten and Progressive bake methods and each time, the emissive texture has no effect on the objects it is sitting upon. Is there another tick box to check or am I doing something wrong if I want an emissive texture to light up a room like in that fantastic Lighting In Unity tutorial on youtube where the guy lights the monkey head with 2 emissive planes? Many thanks for any help

    Hey,
    Several questions:
    1. Which Unity version are you using?
    2. Is Baked Global Illumination checkbox enabled in the Lighting window (under the Mixed Lighting foldout)?

    Cheers!

    I am using Unity 2018.1.Of2.
I do have the baked Global Illumination box checked, with the lighting mode set to baked indirect.
Thanks for stopping by to help!

Hey! I've created a simple project containing couple of emissive planes and a Stanford Bunny mesh. All objects are marked as static, with emissive planes using baked emissive materials. The entire scene was baked using Progressive lightmapper. Please see the image below for the result:

There's most likely an issue with your scene setup. I've attached that same project to this thread, so you could investigate it at your leisure. All you need to to is press Generate Lighting, and you should get the same result as above. As a side note, the project was authored using Unity 2018.1.8f1.

Let us know if you'd still run into issues. Thanks.

Thanks a lot for the info! I was just logging back in to let everyone know I solved the problem, in the event that others experience something similar.
I had Indirect Intensity set to 0 in my file, and it seems that once I changed that to a 1, things got significantly brighter. Thanks for your support and help with this issue.
