Hey guys, I went from Unity 2019.4.40 LTS to Unity 2020.3.40 LTS in order to upgrade my Unity In App Purchasing library, as I'm no longer allowed to use the old one to upload to Google Play.

Parts of the editor has now become extremely laggy in some areas, for example when interacting with Project Settings, even trying to highlight or input into its text fields. I'm running an i9-12900K with 64 GB of RAM, and the 2019 editor ran smooth as butter. In addition, the game now runs at 10fps, when previously it ran easily at the max framerate (60fps). This makes it incredibly difficult to debug face paced gameplay :(.

    - I tried the same thing on a different PC, with the same specs, and got the same result
    - I switched between my integrated GPU and an RTX 4090 with no change
    - I tried Unity 2021.3.13 LTS and to my surprise, it didn't change anything noticeably. I was sure this would do something

Are there any known remedies for this? Perhaps a new setting somewhere that's throttling the editors use of my CPU?

    Thanks!
