Bug Editor Non-Responsive

I'm having a recurring problem where the Unity editor becomes completely unresponsive to mouse or keyboard inputs. I can still use the menu bar (File, Edit, Assets, etc.) and even change the layout and open new windows through the "Window" dropdown but I can't do anything with the windows themselves. It mainly seems to happen when I'm working with imported models in the Assets panel. It's basically made Unity unusable so if anyone has any idea what's happening please let me know ASAP.
