I typically use the Pause/Step buttons in the editor for frame-by-frame testing. In the past, I was able to pause the game, hold an input (with either joystick or keyboard), and press a keyboard shortcut for Step. Unity would register the input, making it easy to debug issues with precision. This stopped working for me as of 2019.1.0f2. Does anyone know if this was intended behavior in the first place? I can file a bug report if this is indeed a bug.
