editor hangs a lot

    So I reinstalled win10, new rtx2060 with latest driver and the editor still hangs for the past month
    Here is what I mean by hangs: when I click on the gui to do anything there is a lag of about 5 seconds.
    Sometimes that lag completely disappears then it comes back.

    This only happens in the unity editor, all other 3D programs are smooth.

    Anyone else getting that and solved it?
