Editor folder response veeery slow in big projects

    Hello

    I'm working on few quite big projects, and after updating editor to latest version, we've seen massive drop in editor performance when working with files/folders.
    In our projects, we need to have around 2,5k models (.fbx) in one folder, and the same amount of prefabs in other folder.
    Problem is, nowadays even accessing one of those directories from Project takes very long (around 2 minutes), and if we want to convert any model to prefab, it takes even longer.

    In smaller projects or directories will less files, there is no problem.

    I wonder what was changed in editor that produces such irritating problem?
    Anyone else having the same problem or is it something local related to our systems?
    And if there is anything we can do to make unity editor work as before?
