Are there any tips to getter the asset store tab within the editor to actually work with some level of decent UX?

It's the most painful thing in the world to use. It randomly hangs, scrolling stops then starts, you overshoot and undershoot then have to try and scroll back and forth with this randomly freezing nightmare of a UX.

Does anybody at Unity use it all? Because if you did you would have fixed it by now!

Apologies for the snark but I'm serious. Doesn't anybody else have issues with this?

I've been monitoring this through different versions and just updated to Unity 2019.1.9 and it's still a painful experience so I'm now promoted to vent about it.

I wish all free assets currently in the Asset Store were available on github with a #UnityAsset tag. Especially now since you can import directly from a github repo (though I'm not sure they're properly caching if assets are used it multiple projects).
