Question Edit default unity input field / progress bar styles

How can I edit or remove the outline and background that's around the text in input fields and in progress bars?

 

Make a style for the element and set (right click the style -> set) on the styles Unity is applying to, even if its just the default value.

If nothing is set for the styles that the default Unity styles apply, they'll still apply.

 

I don't really know what you mean? I tried right clicking the style but it doesn't show apply

 

Not the style itself, but the individual style's properties. As in, go the background properties, Set them to default values, etc etc.

 

Ah I think I see what you're saying, but no style applies to the box in the text field that you enter the text into, so I'm not sure how to change it

 

I've tried adding overrides for the styles of that box, but they are disabled.
