So im playing around with ECS and DOTS, when i compile my project on 2023.2.0a19, or any lower. my entities scene ends up building like this, when using platform package to build the game? any ideas?

    1) I don't think Entities has been tested much on 2023.2. Use 2022.3 LTS.
    2) I don't think the Platforms Package is maintained. Use normal build options to get better results.

Is the same Render pipeline asset selected for the editor as for the build? Is the same Quality setting selected? Are the texture settings the same for your PC (editor) and for your build target?

Do you have lighting settings for all your scenes (even if you don't bake your lights)? I think the build needs them.

My Renderpipeline assets (URP) did not auto-update when moving to a newer unity version, so I needed to regenerate them. But this is probably an edge case.

This really got me puzzled when I first did an android build. Builds via the normal build button should work.

Try everything, welcome to Unity ;)

This is patently untrue. A build mechanism that doesn’t use build configurations was added at some point during or before the experimental 1.0 phase, and the platforms package dependency was dropped somewhere along the line as well. Projects can be built using the normal Unity Build Settings window. Please verify that this is the case, and make a separate post (after checking for existing posts) if any problems arise.
You can also read about the reasoning in the “Build Configs” section in the following post:
