Trials of Ascension: Exile is a "host your own" hardcore sandbox fantasy game where you will play as a human mastering your skills, evolve for the hunt as a Raknar, or defy all odds to grow as a powerful dragon!

We are Steam-approved and launching into their Early Access platform July 26th!


Features mostly revolve around the race you decide to play:


DRAGON:

• Start as a tiny hatchling and attempt to grow your way to ancient.
• Build nests to store your pillaged items.
• Develop and enhance the ability to fly.
• Devastate your foes with your breath weapon.
• Detect rare metal nuggets required for your abilities and growth.
• See perfectly fine in the dark with dark vision.

HUMAN:

• Harvest raw resources and turn them into items, tools and equipment to improve your survivablity.
• Learn how to craft better quality items.
• Use a 3D drafting system to draw up blueprints of your house.
• Construct structures piece by piece, be it a small shack or enormous guild hall.
• Over 20 different skills to improve with use and can be enhanced through perk choices earned as the skill increases.

RAKNAR:

• Born with full use of their natural abilites.
• So your prey down by placing webbing on the ground, in the trees, across entrances, nearly anywhere.
• Watch as your raknar physically grows in size, gains armor around its body and menacing barbs sprout from its strikers, all from gaining in its abilities.
• Climb nearly any surface, including vertical and even inverted!
• Hunt as night with the most powerful night vision in the game.

PLAY THE WAY YOU LIKE:
In addition to the features given to you by your preferred race, you will also be able to customize your island with a wide range of options so that you can play just the way you like. From flora and fauna spawn rates, to PvP settings, even to the number of lives each character is allowed, ToA: Exile can be set to your liking.
