Does it work on PC? Does it work with URP? Will it be supported in future?

The reason why it's interesting is because I would like to change the resolution according the frame rate if the machine is fillrate bound, but I think I will just end up supporting a solution a la fortnite

+1. This would be an excellent capability for Unity generally.

I'd be fine if this was a locked feature behind Pro/Plus as well.

Not sure why this would be behind a paywall, unity hasnt blocked off sections of the engines since unity 4. I dont see going back to that mode of working as being a good idea.

The only things now behind paywalls are additional services (cloud build, teams, havoc physics for commerical etc, and the dark skin.

My assumption was that feature requires hardware supports to work accurately.
We've implemented our own dynamic resolution system for urp(with dynamiclly changing render scale), but it's really hard to make it kick in ontime without hardware metrics

I am back on this and still wondering how it's possible to use Dynamic Resolution with URP. It says it is supported but it doesn't work like the built-in version and I can't find instructions.

Do you have a tutorial for that or a test project at hands?

once I removed the ppv2 it worked out of the box, I had just to move the slide in the URP renderer
