Assets Dungeon FPS

    a fps pack for the assetstore that makes use of the new hdrp features. it will be HDRP only

    currently done:

    10weapons:
    machete
    pistol
    shotgun
    smg
    revolver
    sniper
    heavymachinegun
    crossbow
    grenadelauncher
    magic staff
    healthsyringe shot
    dynamite throw

    modular dungeon (rough version)

    I like the way you've put this together such that it almost tells a story. :)

    You've got the great but simple scene, the weapons ... the game almost starts to make itself!

    tnx , its my first time m trying to make an asset as complete as possible. so buyers get a working controller, scene, and simple enemy. the dungeon is completely modular, so u can easily build or expand the level yourself

    tnx man,
    i need to wait unitll hdrp and shadergraph are out of beta, since it uses those packages but are still in preview.
    sadly ive heard that they will be out of beta as of unity 2019.3
    i could release it now since im done as of yesterday, but i dont know how that will work for support with preview packages in use.

    I suspect you can release with the words "HDRP only" in the main asset store picture, and again at the top of the text description, explaining that it was created for HDRP and was not created to be backward compatible.

    No doubt there are developers already working with HDRP who are looking for art to buy that is already HDRP compatible.

    i just dont want to need to reupload everytime a new hdrp version becomes available with lots of changes.
    ill think about it

    I'm not in the HDRP crowd yet myself, so I'm not asking for me. :)

    Your concern about changes in the HDRP is valid, but probably since you are supplying just the textures ... there shouldn't be a lot of change?

    yes textures and materials will work, custom shaders where made with shadergraph so u could easily recompile for new version.
    im also scripting some elements like the decals feature, post process, etc..., im worried those features will change and will brake the scripts setup. the pack is 1 gig large and uploading to the asset store takes ages.:eek:
    however if theres interest ill upload the pack allready

    im submitting now ;) its taking forever:(
    not sure what u mean with woman but the hands rig is not retargetable so i would need to remake all animations for a womans arm

    yes submitted and pending review , so if all goes well should be live within 2 weeks.

    pack has been declined.
    reviewer didnt even read the readme to setup the hdrp and projectsettings.
    he/she says all models are pink.
    offcourse they are pink when using standard unity shading.
    ive triple checked and the project works fine, u only need to follow certain steps to set it up.
    im getting serious doubts about the asset store reviewing process and even selling my work on it,

    Just re-submit. I imagine sometimes it is a reviewer's first day or something and they have no real idea what's going on. I have heard stories like this from time to time, but they are usually swiftly resolved.

    havent tested that., i dont like ufps1. ufps1 doesnt support hdrp from what i know since it uses two camera setup. this pack uses weapon shader for independent FOV with one camera setup

    price 100$
    i dont own emerald ai, so i dont really know. the zombie uses rootmotion animations on a unity navmesh. but i figure u could setup the zombie to use emerald ai from having a look at that asset.(but im not 100% sure since i dont have that asset)
    the player model does not have 3rd person animations.if the pack sells well enough ill add player animations.

    are you thinking in adding any type of shooter ai? or are you thinking in making it compatible with other ai packages of the unity store?

    im not adding shooter ai. i cannot code well enough for that. the only public function it uses to damage the player is just called "apply damage" so if u can send custom messages(or change the damage function code) with your ai pack of choice it shouldnt be so hard to integrate
    but it wont work out of the box offcourse

    pack has been declined for stupid reason. pack works perfectly fine, yet they complain about problems i cant reproduce.
    they should read the readme to setup the pack.

    You sure do have problems with them. I have to say though, I'm not hearing many other complaints about the asset store any more.

    Good for you! Your characters from Stechfab are huge when importing them into Unity. It would be nice.... if you could bring over the tree man and the knight in reb :)

    the knight in reb? u mean the red knight(knight of the blood order)?
