Question Dual ending cutscenes

    Hey everyone,
    I'm new to game development and wanted to know how I could make a death cutscene and a survival one for my character. I'm making a choice-based platformer and want a cutscene played if the boss defeats the character and a separate ending cutscene if the boss is defeated.

    also just to clarify, the death one would just be a fade out black screen into a final monologue from the boss which takes you to the main menu and if beaten the character would be speaking but credits would roll instead of the main menu

    Timeline would be the best option in your case. We also have specific features in cinemachine to achieve that. For example transitioning from a gameplay camera to an animation camera.
    This would be a good start (A bit out of date but for the basics should be fine).
