Droid Emulator for Windows Unusually Slow and Glitchy?

    I got the Droid emulator for windows and it's ridiculously slow. I get like 1 fps or less and that goes for the menu too. Anyone know how to fix this? I can't even test anything...

    I've tried all versions and they all do the same thing.
    I have a pretty decent computer with 6 gb of RAM so I don't think it has anything to do with my computer.

    Thats normal.

    The emulator is fine for SDK testing (java) but for NDK and especially gpu focused things aka games its plain useless.
    Also I doubt that it takes longer to deploy to device than deploying to emulator with your machine
