Drawcalls go up with the latest version of Unity 4.6 (4.6.4p2)

    Should be in 5.1.1f1 might have missed the RN

    I am not seeing any improvement with 5.1.1f1

    Edit : Oops he says 5.1.1f1, sorry... So it's not fixed yet ?

    I've tested in 5.1.1 and it's not fixed there.

    Well maybe today we get patch for 4.6.6 - I hope it contain the fix.

    interesting as the branch says it has the fix for 5.1.1 so it should be there i'm checking again.

    4.6.6patch3
    • (673152) - UI: Fixed value of InputField.text when another field is being edited.
    • (689600) - UI: Number of batches created for UI scene back down to 4.6.4 number.

    5.1 p1 is available as of yesterday, not sure if it would fix your issue though.

    It was 5.1.1 which came out yesterday i think the fix missed the release so it should be in 5.1.1p1 next week

    Hi,

    I'm testing Unity 4.6.6p3 :

    Unity 4.6.2f1 : 21 draw calls

    Unity 4.6.4p2 : 77 draw calls


    Unity 4.6.6p3 : 18 draw calls

    When will 4.6.7(?) be available with this fix? We are seeing this all over our UI, but we are releasing on WebPlayer as well, and patched versions are not supported?

    Going to run some tests with our UI to see if 4.6.6p3 fixes things for us as well.

    4.6.7 is out and 5.1.1p2 can someone confirm this issue is fixed once and for all..?

    Yep, I think it is fixed. I can't give exact numbers but %70 less.

    So, I updated from 5.0.x to 5.1.1f, and now my UI draw calls are through the roof. Patch release says we can't build for webplayer. When can we expect a final release for all patches since 5.1.1f with a fix for UI draw call batching?

    Unity Roadmap says 5.2 is expected in September. This is making me regret upgrading to 5.1.1f.

    5.1.2 should be out in the next week or two.

    As of the latest 5.3 release it seems to be broken again, I am getting severely increased draw calls and no batching of my sprites. Is anyone else having this problem?

    I'd make sure you have the sprite packing tags set and packing enabled.
