I would like that in the hierarchy the custom icon (if set) of the objects is drawn next to the standard icon.
Actually I found a script (https://diegogiacomelli.com.br/unitytips-hierarchy-window-gameobject-icon/) that should do it (all on the right), but it has a quantum behavior: sometimes it works as shown in the video, sometimes only with the colored labels, sometimes it just doesn't work.
Unfortunately contacting the author seems impossible.

Having this feature built into Unity would make the job much easier. As well as show also the icon that identifies the object, for example the Button icon on buttons, and Toggle on toggles, in addition to the standard cube icon (useful to distinguish single objects from prefabs) and the custom one.

While waiting for that to happen, is there any way to get the script to work?
