I'm trying to drag a folder which has .fbx files in it to the project browser and it doesn't allow me to do that. It keeps coming up with a circle and a cross whenever I hover over it with the folder. I manually have to import each asset individually and that's very time-consuming.

Is there any way I can get around this?

    Thanks in advance.

You can try dragging them to the folder through your OS windows. When you go back to your Unity window, it will take some time to detect changes to the folder contents.

Yeah that method works, which is great, but does this mean that I have to do this all the time and that there's a bug on Unity?

No idea if it's a bug, maybe there is a way to unlock the "lock" Unity sets on this action? Let's see if anyone manages to drag folders into the Unity browser
