Download Shader File

    I guess this question has to do with more or less about using Github - I want to experiment with this glitch effect shader that was posted on Github, but I have trouble downloading it as a .shader file. It always downloads as a .txt file, so I do not know how to get it to download properly.

    My overall goal is to make a glitch effect for a splash screen on my 2D game, so I do not know if the resource I attached above is even the best one. If anyone has other glitch tutorial suggestions, I would be open to looking into them. Also, I don't want to purchase anything from the asset store.

    Click "Clone or Download" and then choose "Download ZIP". Open the downloaded ZIP file and get the .shader file from there.
