Download and Initialize 3d Model

    hi,
    I want to download a 3D model from server and Initialize during run time. I Just Download Model
    successfully on Persistent storage but i can't load and initialize the 3d model as gameobject,
    I don't want to use Assets Bundle because client demand form own server. so please help me
    asap.

    If Assets Bundle is not an option and knowing that importing assets is not available in builds (available only in Editor). Then, you would have to write your own 3D model importer or use one from the Asset Store.

    AssetBundles can be downloaded from any ftp or http server. Unless you mean the client wants to use there own server software.

    I Just Try Obj Importer from Assets Store https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/49547
    Its work Fine on Unity Editor but can't work on Real Devices.
    My client want to Upload model own server and App show these model one by one based on user choice, and these
    model increase day by day means pure dynamic.

    I have 4 points for you:

    1. Do not necro-post on a 6+ years old thread.
    2. When you engage with a thread, stay on topic. This was about how to dynamically load a model at runtime which Unity does not support unless it's an assetbundle. The runtime does not have any built-in means to read any model file format
    3. Do not copyright infringe content of others, that includes small and big games and companies. You can not use any content of any game without the creators permission, so don't ask for how to infringe the copyright and don't do it yourself.
    4. The scripting forum is about coding questions, which is thread was about. Do not ask questions here where you ask how or where you may get assets or other content.
