I did read that ML-agent devs are working on DOTS support but its "NOT READY YET" however that was quite some time ago, is there any chance we will get DOTS support this year? Was considering implementing ml agents on huge scale but only if dots will be added, otherwise that would just max my/player's main cpu thread, and wont scale well enough
I'm also interested in a DOTS ml-agents version, but it might be the case that we need to wait for DOTS itself to be fixed up a bit more before it makes sense to integrate ml-agents with it. Apparently there is a DOTS version that can be made available upon request, but there's no telling which Unity version or ml-agents version they are compatible with. Scale is the most important aspect for me given I use physics based agents, so I could really get a lot of mileage from it.
We do not have plans to support DOTS in the immediate future though it is a highly requested feature. I will add this thread to the tally.
