    Hi All,

Dots Netcode seems like a great component and I'm considering using for a project (otherwise I'd develop my own networking solution).

I'd be interested to know more about the future of Dots netcode and its roadmap.
Is it a component that unity will continue to support and develop in the future? do you plan a production ready version?
Is all the multiplayer effort focused on Netcode for GameObjects (which does not have the same use cases)?

There isn't much activity on https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/DOTSSample which seems to use an old version of netcode, linked from manual home page.

    Cheers,
    Pierre

NetCode for Entities is actively under development. As all DOTS packages, we will continue to support it in the future and expand the feature set as necessary, as well as based on users feedbacks.
Not all multiplayer efforts are focused on NetCode for GameObject.
The free available DOTSSample repository is using an old version of netcode. But the NetCode package samples are all using the new version https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/multiplayer
