Feedback Don't remove the Installer until Hub works flawless !

Sometime since the 2021.2.4 release, the link to Installer on https://unity3d.com/get-unity/download/archive stopped working. It now redirects to https://unity.com/download?thank-you=update&download_nid=65382&os=Mac which tells you to download Hub.

HUB DOESN'T WORK on Macs when you don't run as Admin (which for security reasons you don't).

Hub still can't grab temporary admin permissions with an auth prompt after how many years?

So don't take the Installer away until this finally works. Right now, the hoops I needed to jump through in order to add one single module was:

* Switch user account to the local admin account I have
* There sign into Hub again
* Hub didn't work, quit, figure out why, restart.
* Update the module in question
* Log out off admin account
* Log back into normal user account

Note: Running Hub without logging into a different account, i.e. running it via su/sudo from the terminal ALSO doesn't work because Electron won't launch the webview to sign in from an isolated context.


I dread having to do that every time I want to update to a new point release. Installer always worked fast, easy and well. Please don't go and make life difficult for us original Mac users who've supported you since before Unity 3D for Windows even existed.
