Video Does Unity native Video lower the quality of a streaming video?

    I am using Unity's Native video playback and I have noticed that when I play a local MP4 as a url in the Video Player component that the video playback doesn't look as sharp as viewing the video in VLC player, the colour also changes slightly. Is there anyway to improve the playback quality?
