    I have built a little app in Windows that connects to my database on a server through php and Unity3d with www commands. It connects, creates new records and etc. in the Unity when I run it. However, when I build and run to my android device it loads and runs but it just doesn't seem to support the www commands.

    Are these commands known to work in Unity3d Free Version?

    Yes. There should be no difference in www functionality in Personal vs Pro. How are you debugging your tests. What errors are the Www class throwing?

    Have you tried logging out the requests as they hit the PHP to make sure they're not coming through? I doubt it's a limitation of the free version, but could be something related to how the Android platform tools handle the requests/responses. I mean, if you've had it working using the free version on Windows, it points to something platform-related.

    Thanks to all. I resolved the issue on my android device and everything is working now.

    I was using this url string:
    string url = "www.myapps.com/mynetwork/registeruser.php";

    *Worked fine in windows but apparently was my problem when run on android.

    Android apparently requires http:// so I changed my url string:

    string url = "http://mysapps.com/mynetwork/registeruser.php";

    I'm developing an app in which home owners (customers) can find local contractors in their area whom are rated by customer reviews. I am a successful HVAC contractor with a degree in computer science and a lot of spare time during the winter months here in New Jersey. I have spent days Googling for a good development environment that communicates with my online database and everyone tries to steer away from Unity for this task...

    Why? Unity works great for this!
