    Hello,
    I'm on a MacPro 2009 with a CPU-Upgrade to a Mac Pro 2012 with 12x 3.46GHz (2x 6-Core-Xeon X5690) with 80GB RAM and a Geforce 980 Ti on macOS HighSierra.

So my question is.. Can I just buy a HTC Vive and start to develop VR on my Mac?

It should work with the latest macOS and the Geforce 980 Ti, right?

    Thank you :)

How the hell do you have 80GB of RAM?

Why not? You can have up to 128GB in a Mac Pro with two CPUs (12 cores).

I got a Vive to work on my 12 core iMac Pro. Works with Steam and Premiere Pro. Finding macOS content on Steam is another story...

I personally would give up trying to run unityVR on a mac. Even if you do manage to get it working support is very lax.
