Question Does TextMeshProUGUI re-calculate Canvas if the text is not changed

    Hello!

    Our game has some performance issues as a consequence of text mesh pro UI components doing re-calculations of different kinds. The main issue I have with that is that, for the most part, the TMP components don't actually change.

    Mostly it's just

    TextMeshProUGUI component has text = "hello there everyone"

    I change the text through script to "hello there everyone"

    TMP causes a lot of recalculations due to "changing" the text.

    Is it possible to make TMP not re-calculate anything unless the change is actual?
