Does stencil buffer work well on android or iOS?

    I want to implament some effect. I know alpha test doesn't work well on some devices. But manual doesn't metion the situation of stencil buffer on mobile platform. If someone has the experience of using stencil buffer ,please give me some advices.:)

    it will work on mobile, don't worry.
    I use stencil buffer to do planar shadow for character on iOS & android.
