Does it make sense to create Map in zBrush ?

    Hi Folks,

    i want to create a map that looks like one of the flying Islands you maybe know from Avatar. Because I worked a couple of years with zBrush, i thought it might be a good idea to create that flying World in Z-Brush. Would that be a wise way? Still not sure of the best way....

    Yes it can be a viable approach. In the end, it's mesh data. You would look at optimisation strategies to support it and do lots of testing.

    Put it this way, those islands in games - they are meshes, and a lot of them are probably involving zbrush because it's such a widely used general purpose modelling tool.

    Yep. Using zbrush or any other sculpting and modelling software
    for that, is a good idea.
