Pretty much the title, I had Unity USD 3.0.0-exp.1 installed in my project to use it with Simplygon, but lately when I tried to use Simplygon it wouldn't work, I would get an error related to the version, anyways I updated my USD (which I shouldn't had) to 3.0.0-exp.4 because somehow I thought that was the problem, the error persisted, I downgraded it back to exp.1 and updated the Simplygon DLL which resolved the issue, I tried to build my android game, and the OBB from 800mb went to 3.6 GB, not only that my game won't launch either. probably because of the OBB file.

    What could cause that?

    Your title question:

... should be more in the format of you stating something along the lines of:

    - I have an existing project
    - I source controlled my project and committed everything so there are no changes
    - I installed USD
    - looking in source control I noticed some project settings changed (be specific)
    - I cannot find documentation why or how those settings got changed
    - I care that these settings were changed because of X, Y and Z

But... in one breathtaking whoosh we went from Unity USD to Simplygon versions spouting random errors and on over to speculating about OBB files, a no-longer supported Android executable extension format.

You really lost me there man.

Otherwise, let's get back to basics here and see if we can find out what might be happening.

How to report your problem productively in the Unity3D forums:

    http://plbm.com/?p=220

This is the bare minimum of information to report:

    - what you want
    - what you tried
    - what you expected to happen
    - what actually happened, log output, variable values, and especially any errors you see
    - links to documentation you used to cross-check your work (CRITICAL!!!)

The purpose of YOU providing links is to make our job easier, while simultaneously showing us that you actually put effort into the process. If you haven't put effort into finding the documentation, why should we bother putting effort into replying?

I located the issue that cause the very huge build size, it was caused by the LOD meshes Simplygon made in my scene, I looked at the assets Simplygon made, and they are pretty small in size, no more than 1-2mb in total (mesh, texture, material), how exactly after building the game it causes the build size to be 3.6GB from 800 MB I'm not exactly sure. A Unity Bug?
