Does anyone know of any website that contains 2D spritesheets

I'm looking for sprites to develop a movie-based 2D game and can't find any websites. Do you know any websites that contain sprites?

 

What genre is it? You may find some sprites on different websites, but usually websites cater to specific needs.
It would be difficult for you to find all sprites that you need freely available as a game needs to have a visual theme. Its rare, extremely rare, to find matching sprites.

 

Matrix characters sprites. It is an action 2D game!
