(sorry if this is in the wrong section)

So I'm planning on making like a looter shooter of sorts (think destiny, only really, really crappy because I'm not a game studio.) I have looked everywhere, and cannot for the life of me find a (blender) tutorial on how to model any kind of sci-fi armor. Does anyone know of a good tutorial?

    Here's kinda what I'm going for: https://soundhunter.deviantart.com/art/Sniper-522124742

Am I just not looking in the right place? Or should I just figure it out on my own?

    Thanks :D

Just learn to model and draw, then you can make anything

I'm sorry that's not a helpful response at all. If your going to comment at least put some effort into it. That's the equivalent of 'Get good bro'. Game dev as an Idie is really really, really, really hard. We owe each other more helpful responses than this.

I think you put this in the correct spot. You asked for help with modeling. With the exception of certain asset tool Unity doesn't give you that option. So external tools it is.
    I recommend 3 tools.
    Zbrush
    3ds Max
    Substance Painter

Watch these videos for tips on how to create various shapes. The tools are app specific but...the techniques are basically universal
