    Hey all,

some days ago, i had an idea for a videogame and pen and paper mix.
Such a project would be a lot of work, even for a prototype so i decided
    to do some research first.
How many people here are actually playing games like dungeons and dragons,
    dsa, shadowrun or vampire?
Please, if you dont play any pen and paper table tops, do a quick post anyway, so
    i can get a little statistic. : )

I played and loved Shadowrun on the SNES. Other than that, I have no familiarity with, or desire to take part in, what you've mentioned. I've got nothing against them, but they seem a time sink, and I already have a plethora of those handy. ;)

I play Munchkin, which is much less time consuming variant on the tradition D&D formula.

I used to play PnP rpgs but not in a while. I had considered running a game using Unity instead of miniatures and a grid map but never got around to doing it.

I used to play a lot of D&D and other pen paper RPG's like starwars. But today I don't have the time. And the time I do have free I like doing things that aren't game related: gardening, cooking, going out clubbing etc

I still play pen and paper, although, it's on a forum these days, using the Big Eyes Small Mouth 3rd edition - a nice light weight system with only three primary stats. Although, I have played my fair share of Role Master and Star Wars RPG as well.

    hmm, that is interesting,
many people still like these kind of games, but dont have the time to meet a group of players anymore,

part of my idea was to make the game playable via network, so playgroups do not need to meet.
The other part of the idea was to hide the most rules behind the gui, like in the most modern games,
but at the same time alow a gameleader to manipulate the gameworld, so things outside the default
    rules should be possible. ^^
