Do you need the paid version of Unity to buy assets from the store?

    One day I hope to buy the fuller version of Unity but wondered as I'm completely overwhelmed with the fanaticalness of the asset store could I use it it being a free user? and If so can I use my credit card/debit card (UK) and I assume paypal is fine, please advise and thanks

    Of course. It would be a mighty strange store that made you pay to use it...generally the payment is for the actual stuff in a store, not for just walking inside.
