Do you have to return the loaner BB in its original condition?

    Stupid question.


    Let's say you receive the loan BB, fail the deadline, then have to to return the BB device. Is there any terms and conditions for the returned device?


    I assume the person should take care of it, such that it is of usable condition when returned.


    Some of the catch22 of loan devices is pre-existing defects - bent or crooked backplane, pre-existing scratches, constant low-power on battery, LCD has funny dots, has a different casing kind. Should I accept them or raise that as issues?

    Well, for starters they might not want the device back. From terms:

    But if they do, I don't think device condition would be a problem as you will return it back to courier, not to BB, and they will report back as received..
