Do Unity have any plans to allow color customization of the editor?

I have an eye problem that makes it very hard for me see things that don't have high contrast (its called Fuchs' dystrophy). For instance when I am using a pro color scheme and edit a prefab its dark blue against a dark grey background. This makes it very hard for me to see the text.

Would it really be so hard for unity to allow us to customize these colors? This problem is really bothering me. Programming Unity is my job and I am having to suffer every day with this problem. I have tried using the personal theme but that also has visibility problems.

The Zios Themes project comes to mind as something that would enable you to do this, although it seems like it has been abandoned now. But if you can work with an older version of the Unity editor, it might perhaps still be a (temporary) solution:

I'm not sure if there are any other similar solutions available right now that are still being supported. You might want to check out the asset store.

I used to use the Zios thing. Trouble is I am working with a recent version of Unity so it doesn't work:(

  4. They are working on the new UI (2019.3), after that I guess it will be a possibility, sooner or later. There is this thread where you may be able to do it for yourself, check it out: https://forum.unity.com/threads/editor-skinning-thread.711059/
BTW, the light theme is better for your eye sight probably, check out if that helps.
