Do the different ad placements (zones) affect revenue?

Having read through the General Monetization FAQ and Unity Ads forum, I'm still left with one question:

Does the decision to show interstitial vs. reward ads affect revenue? My gut tells me that the reward (non-skipable) ads would be more valuable to advertisers, but that may not affect revenue for the publisher.

    Thanks for your help,

    Sage

Fundamentally there's no difference between the two revenue wise.

Rewarded ads do tend to get you a higher completed view rate, but it's really up to the implementation. You can usually just drop a skippable ad on someone without so much as a warning. They can skip it, so it doesn't matter. However, since rewarded ads are not skippable, users should first be given the option to watch them or not. If the option is compelling enough (rewarded), you could get more completed views than just forcing users to watch a skippable ad.

Andy Sum said something in a recent Gamasutra article that really stuck with me:
    Words worth considering.
