Do my customers need to agree on the Unity EULA if they receive my work just in binary form?

    Hello,

i want to do some small games for a few customers and to ship them JUST in binary form.

Is it then my exclusive right how i want/will license these games to the customer?
Or/And do my customer needs to Agree in the Unity EULA?
Do my customer still need to buy Assets from the Store if they are used in a Project?

    Best wishes

    Dan

    Hi,

If you have any question about licensing, the only authoritative source is to contact support @ unity3d.com or via a support form -- and certainly not some random reply on a forum.

That said, this not-a-lawyer interpretation of the EULA is fairly common:

    > Is it then my exclusive right how i want/will license these games to the customer?

    Yes, for builds only.

    > Or/And do my customer needs to Agree in the Unity EULA?

Only if the asset has a special EULA. It's very rare, but do double check any special licenses included with assets (e.g., the LEGO assets). I suppose another exception would be if they were to decompile the build and redistribute the assets contained in it; that of course isn't allowed by the EULA either.

    > Do my customer still need to buy Assets from the Store if they are used in a Project?

No, if you only deliver builds.

Users of your application need to accept Unity's EULA for some extent. Especially because Unity gathers data for different reasons.
If you read the EULA, you can see, there are sections for end users.

If you want to know more regarding to your specific situation, do what @TonyLi wrote and contact Unity for details.
