Do colliders not work with RectTransform?

    I have colliders on UI buttons and they appear to have correct sze and position, but they dont collide unless I unparent them.

    Do they have incorrect transform in the physics world? Are they not meant to be used this way? Why are they not working?

    Actually raycasts into them work, but not trigger events. Unless I unparent them. They have their own kinematic RigidBody each.

    P.S. I'm talking about 3D
