    Hi,

And sorry if this question has been asked somewhere. I've spent a bit of time having a look but couldn't find anything. We're using the Unity 5 beta 20 with iOS and Android non-pro licence. The game shows a "Trial" when run. Are we okay to distribute and submit to the iOS/Android/WP8 stores with this current version?

    Matt

No. The relevant parts from the Unity 5 EULA that pops up in the installer (similar to the U4 EULA on the site at http://unity3d.com/legal/eula ):

    Section 1c (last bit):
If you are using a trial version of the Software, you may not publish or distribute any Licensee Content.

    Section 12 (partial):
“Licensee Content” means games, applications, software or other content that you develop with the Software.

    Sorry :(

Ahh, thanks jdi_knight. So we'll need to buy/upgrade to a pro licence to publish?

Yes, publishing with a trial license is illegal and Unity has solid systems in place to detect this.

If you can't buy a pro license you must publish with Unity free.

Thanks for clarifying that guys, we've bought a licence for Pro.
