I feel like this is a pretty silly question, but is it possible to display the sun (as in disk/halo) while using a HDRI Sky? I don't want to have to add the sun in my skybox, but it seems like that's the only way?
Changing the directional light's parameters (like Sun Highlight Disk/Halo Size) doesn't change anything. (Yet I see those changes in the water reflections)

There's no problem if I have a procedural sky but I need a skybox...

    Thanks!

No it is not possible so you should use a mesh, perhaps with emission enabled so that bloom will pick it up and give you a realistic sun. I've tried this in the past, and it seems pretty much the right thing to do.

Yeah I was a bit afraid of that. Oh well, probably will end up using a particle then. Thanks!
